Gamuda’s unit, via a JV with Evia MSC Pte Ltd and H108 Pte Ltd, submitted the highest bid of S$1.01bil for a leasehold land in Chencharu Close, Singapore.
The 29,450.3 sqm site is earmarked for mixed commercial and residential development.
BAuto’s net profit for the first quarter ended July 31, 2025, fell sharply to RM8.28mil from RM70.22mil a year ago, as revenue dropped to RM491.28mil from RM846.18mil.
Jasa Kita has received a notice of unconditional mandatory takeover offer from Maybank Investment Bank Bhd and Astramina Advisory Sdn Bhd on behalf of Kintan Prima Sdn Bhd.
It said oil and gas veteran Abd Azis Mohamad, his wife Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, and brother-in-law Datuk Iskandar Mizal signed two conditional deals on July 11, 2025, to buy a 40.33% stake in Jasa Kita for RM68.90mil (38 sen per share) from Tan Sri Tan Hua Choon and Datuk Sri Tan Han Chuan.
Following the acquisition, Abd Azis and his group now hold a 50.19% stake in Jasa Kita. This triggered a mandatory takeover offer by Kintan Prima to acquire the remaining shares at 38 sen each.
MyNews’ third quarter ended July 31, 2025, net profit more than doubled year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM6.43mil, with earnings per share rising to 0.86 sen from 0.35 sen.
Revenue grew 11.3% y-o-y to RM230.94mil, driven by stronger in-store sales and 53 new outlets, bringing the total to 679.
Unique Fire is acquiring a parcel of vacant industrial land in Klang, Selangor for RM15.54mil in view of its future business expansion.
The group said the 4,926 sq m tract of freehold land is within proximity to its existing manufacturing facilities.
