CIMB Group Holdings Bhd announced that its group chief executive officer, Novan Amirudin, will assume the role of Acting CEO of Growth Markets in CIMB Singapore following the resignation of Victor Lee Meng Teck.

 

Telekom Malaysia Bhd and Scicom (MSC) Bhd have formed a strategic partnership to share operational expertise and deploy next-generation AI solutions.

 

Perak Transit Bhd plans to launch its smart bus stop project in Ipoh in 4Q2025 as part of efforts to build new recurring revenue streams.

 

Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has signed a MoU with South Korean household appliance manufacturer Hanil Electric Co Ltd to develop Hanil’s upcoming USD50.0mn (RM220.0mn) manufacturing plant in Sarawak.

 

Skyworld Development Bhd has signed a contract to buy land in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for RM136.0mn for the development of a commercial apartment complex.

 

Citaglobal Bhd will independently develop an industrial park project in Pahang after exercising an option to acquire the land from its joint venture partner for RM90.0mn, to be settled in cash and irredeemable convertible preference share.

 

Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd said that Sarawak Energy Bhd has reconnected electricity supply to its phosphate plant in Samalaju Industrial Park, more than two years after it was cut off following a dispute over a power purchase agreement.

 

Yinson Holdings Bhd’s offshore energy unit, Yinson Production, has entered into a cooperation agreement with Norway-based Carbon Circle AS to develop carbon capture projects in Europe.

 

Shareholders of Classita Holdings Bhd have approved the company’s change of name to Nexg Bina Bhd at its EGM, reflecting the group’s strategic expansion into the property, construction, and infrastructure sectors.

 

Econpile Holdings Bhd clarified that neither the company nor its wholly owned unit, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, has been charged in relation to the money laundering case involving Maju Holdings Sdn Bhd director Tan Sri Abu Sahid Mohamed.

 

Asteel Bhd said its 80.4%-indirectly owned subsidiary, Asteel Synergy Sdn Bhd, has accepted a RM10.1mn contract from EC Bina Sdn Bhd to install roof finishing and related works for a factory building in Tanjung Duabelas, Kuala Langat, Selangor.

 

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission said it will forfeit RM12.0mn belonging to Sapura Energy Bhd, now known as Vantris Energy Bhd, which was allegedly misused by an undisclosed party in 2018.

 

Globaltec Formation Bhd said its Australian unit, NuEnergy Gas Ltd, has secured gas allocation approval from the Indonesian government to sell 1mn standard cubic feet per day of coal bed methane to state-owned distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk.

 

Scientex Packaging (Ayer Keroh) Bhd’s net profit rose 8.8% YoY to RM7.4mn in 4QFY25, from RM6.8mn a year earlier, mainly thanks to cost-saving measures.
