TT Vision unit secures RM92mil deal

KUALA LUMPUR: TT Vision Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary TT Vision Technologies Sdn Bhd has secured a contract worth RM92mil from Yu Tong Construction Sdn Bhd for the construction of a factory building cum office building.

The company develops and manufactures automated machine vision equipment and vision-guided robotic systems.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said that the contract is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2028. For its second quarter ended June 30, 2026, TT Vision’s net loss widened to RM5.23mil from RM1.95mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue slumped to RM1.69mil from RM13.45mil previously.

In a filing on its second quarter performance earlier in August, the company said it is remaining cautiously optimistic on the outlook for the second half of 2026, supported by a gradual recovery in the semiconductor industry and improving customer inquiries and project engagements across its core segments. — Agencies
