UOA Development posts higher net profit of RM91.7mil in 2Q

KUALA LUMPUR: UOA Development Bhd posted a higher net profit of RM91.71 million in the second quarter of its financial year ending Dec 31, 2025, (2Q FY2025) compared to RM61.05 million in the same quarter a year ago.

Revenue increased to RM130.16 million in the quarter under review from RM99.22 million previously, primarily from the progressive recognition of the group’s ongoing development projects.

Among the projects are Bamboo Hills Residences, Aster Hill, a medical centre in Bangsar South, and Laurel Residence, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

For the first half of FY2025 (1H FY2025), the group’s net profit rose to RM165.66 million versus RM110.75 million a year earlier, while revenue jumped to RM282.27 million against RM169.47 million previously.

On outlook, UOA Development said new property sales for the period ended June 30, 2025 totalled RM413.0 million, with Bamboo Hills Residences, Laurel Residence, Aster Hill, and Duo Tower accounting for the bulk of the transactions.

"Unbilled sales amounted to RM888.1 million at quarter-end, which will be recognised as projects reaching completion in the coming years.

"In view of these, the group remains committed to exploring strategic land parcels that align with and amplify its objectives,” it added. - Bernama
