AGMO Holdings and Theta Edge form JV firm


PETALING JAYA: Agmo Capital Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agmo Holdings Bhd, entered into a joint venture (JV) cum shareholders’ agreement with Theta Edge Bhd’s Theta Technologies Sdn Bhd (TTSB) to form a JV company.

In respective filings with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, AGMO and Theta Edge said the JV company aims to develop and market artificial intelligence, blockchain, data analytics, augmented reality/virtual reality, and environmental, social and governance solutions, targeting Malaysia’s public sector.

Agmo Capital will provide ready-to-market products, lead research and development, and support private-sector marketing, while TTSB will spearhead public-sector strategies, secure contracts, and oversee project delivery.

The JV company’s initial share capital is RM1,000, with TTSB holding 51%, with Agmo Capital holding the remaining 49%.
