KUALA LUMPUR:  Manulife Insurance Bhd has announced its sponsorship towards MDRTConnects 2025, an initiative of Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Malaysia, the Malaysia arm of the global association of leading insurance and financial services professionals.

In a statement, it said the sponsorship is designed to promote the growth of high-calibre MDRT members in Malaysia.

“This partnership provides our agents with access to invaluable resources and insights from industry leaders, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their careers.

"By investing in their development, we are not only enhancing their capabilities but also strengthening the future of the insurance industry," said Vibha Coburn, CEO of Manulife Insurance.

She added that Manulife Malaysia aims to grow and cultivate more professionals in the insurance industry, targeting 2.5 times growth in MDRT qualifiers in 2025.

To support this goal, Manulife is launching MDRT Club 2025. This exclusive club is designed to support and accelerate agents' paths to success, helping them achieve the prestigious MDRT qualification.

"MDRTConnects will be brought to five locations in Malaysia throughout the year. We are looking forward to welcoming Manulife’s participants," said Jasmine Lily Ho, Country Chair of MDRT Malaysia.

“Manulife is a committed life insurance provider in the Malaysia insurance industry and their sponsorship reaffirms its commitment to the industry’s growth.”

Earlier this year, Manulife Asia announced a three-year Exclusive Premier Sponsorship agreement with MDRT to drive high-quality, sustainable growth for Manulife’s agency force by equipping agents with essential tools and knowledge to advance their skills and careers through tailored development programs, workshops, and online courses.
