CBH Engineering secures RM28mil turnkey job


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has secured a contract for works relating to the development of a 100 megawatts / 400 megawatt-hours battery energy storage system in Pahang, worth RM27.7mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the electrical engineering service provider said it had executed a works agreement with “Company A” to undertake the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the battery energy storage system interconnection facility, battery energy storage system interconnector and Tenaga Nasional Bhd interconnection facility works on a turnkey basis and all associated site works for the development of the battery energy storage system .

“The contract shall commence on April 8, 2026 and shall be completed on April 7, 2027.”

CBH said the contract will not have any effect on the issued share capital, the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the company.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, and net assets per share of the company throughout the duration of the contract.”
