In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Datasonic said the first LoE is for the supply of Malaysian passport documents to the Immigration Department for a period of 12 months commencing from Dec 1, 2024 to Nov 30, 2025, for an additional third ceiling contract value of RM57.15mil.

The second LoE is for the supply of polycarbonate biodata pages to the Immigration Department for a period of 12 months commencing from Dec 1, 2024 to Nov 30, 2025, for an additional third ceiling contract value of RM93.3mil.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets per share of Datasonic for the financial year ending March 31, 2025 and the financial year thereafter for the duration of the contract and will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Datasonic.”
