TDM gets new group chief executive


PETALING JAYA: TDM Bhd has appointed Najman Kamaruddin as its group chief executive officer with effect from today.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TDM said Najman, 57, shall relinquish his position as an executive director of TDM effective today.

According to the company’s annual report, Najman was appointed as a director of TDM and TDM Plantation Sdn Bhd in 2018 and was subsequently redesignated as executive director for TDM in December 2020.

He is also the chairman of TDM Trading Sdn Bhd. Najman was appointed as a Trustee Member of Malaysia Rubber Council from 2020 to 2021, of which he was the chairman of its Audit Committee. He was the deputy president for the Artificial Intelligence Society of Malaysia.
