PETALING JAYA: Sunway Melawati Sdn Bhd, a full subsidiary of Sunway Bhd
, has agreed to acquire a 17.6-acre prime freehold land from Viva Impian Sdn Bhd in the Taman Taynton neighbourhood of Kuala Lumpur for RM320mil.
In a statement yesterday, Sunway said the proposed land acquisition is strategically situated adjacent to its Sunway Alishan residential development, and that the parcel of land is earmarked for a mixed-use development with an estimated gross development value of RM3.2bil.
