GCAP inks MoU for Pahang hydropower project


KUALA LUMPUR: G Capital Bhd (GCAP) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hong Kong-based CCIAM Logistic Company Limited to set forth mutual intentions to engage CCIAM Logistic for comprehensive services for the 26 MWac small hydropower project in Pahang and raising capital up to RM325mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, GCAP said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Northern Star Hydropower Sdn Bhd (NS Hydropower) entered into the MoU with CCIAM Logistic.

It said the MoU, valid for one year from the effective date, set forth mutual intentions to engage CCIAM Logistic for comprehensive services including exploration, construction, management, technology, and environment social governance (ESG) strategies for small hydropower project.
