KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit traded lower against the US dollar at the opening today as the US Dollar Index (DXY) gained 0.1 per cent to 104.153 points as traders betted on an early rate cut by the European Central Bank, strengthening the greenback.
At 9.06 am, the ringgit stood at 4.6705/6750 versus the greenback compared with yesterday's close of 4.6665/6700.
