Tanco holdings' unit bags RM82.76mil infrastructure works job

KUALA LUMPUR: Tanco Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Tanco Builders Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM82.76 million contract from Win Global Builder Sdn Bhd (WGBSB) for a Rumah Selangorku development project involving main building and infrastructure works.

The project would be developed by WGBSB and involved the main building and infrastructure works for one block of Rumah Selangorku apartments comprising 400 units, a kindergarten, parking lots and attendant facilities such as surau, management office, hall, shops, swimming pool, refuse chamber and guard post.

"The date of commencement for the contract works shall be decided on a later date, and Tanco Builder shall commence the contract works on or after such date and complete the contract works within thirty-two months,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

It said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s future earnings.

At Bursa’s closing today, Tanco’s shares were up by half-a-sen to 56 sen, with 25.90 million shares changing hands. - Bernama
