Congestion-free KL-SG HSR may attract private bidders to the fray

“We are trying to get the private sector to wholly fund this project. Hopefully, we can find the sweet spot of private sector-government involvement, moving forward,” says Nur Ismal.

WITH stretched government finances at the moment, keeping the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (KL-SG HSR) as a privately funded project is the preferred way forward.
