Abuja: Nigeria’s security services have detained the country’s suspended central bank chief as part of an investigation into his office, according to the national domestic security agency..

The arrest of Central Bank of Nigeria governor Godwin Emefiele came shortly after new president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government suspended him following nearly a decade in the post.
