PETALING JAYA: Marine & General Bhd
has posted a loss of RM6.13mil for the fourth quarter ended April 30, 2026 versus a profit of RM17.19mil in the same quarter a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter was also lower at RM66.74mil compared to RM93.66mil a year ago.
In a filing with the local bourse, the offshore marine support service provider said the decrease was due to lower vessel availability by both upstream and downstream divisions, as several vessels underwent scheduled docking and repair and maintenance works during the period.
For the full year ended April 30, 2026, the group posted a net profit of RM25mil on the back of RM343.9mil in revenue. The board said it will remain mindful of external challenges, including global economic uncertainties and geopolitical risks.
