Aneka Jaringan bags RM30.3mil bored piling contract

KUALA LUMPUR: Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd has secured a RM30.27mil contract to undertake the bored piling works for a proposed development in Melaka.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Aneka said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd had received the letter of award from Reliacon Sdn Bhd for and on behalf of Parkland Avenue Sdn Bhd.

The commencement date of the contract is May 2, 2023 and shall be completed on Jan 1, 2024.

Aneka expects the contract to contribute positively to its consolidated earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Aug 31, 2023 and 2024, during the duration of the contract.

In a statement, managing director Pang Tse Fui said: “The group is steadily getting jobs as we focus on our markets in Malaysia and Indonesia. This will replenish our order book and assist the Group in improving the topline and bottomline performance while contributing positively to the financial years ending Aug 31, 2023 and 2024.

“We will continue to seek projects from the government and private sectors of both Malaysia and Indonesia and are anticipating a strong pipeline of projects.”

Aneka Jaringan has an order book of RM137mil as of Nov 30, 2022, with Malaysian operations contributing RM124mil and Indonesian operations contributing RM13mil.

As of March 31, the group’s tender book stood at RM1.19bil, with tenders in Malaysia valued at RM1.12bil and tenders in Indonesia valued at RM68mil.
