Phillip Capital bags two awards at Bursa Excellence Award 2022


KUALA LUMPUR: Phillip Capital Sdn Bhd, a member of the PhillipCapital Group, has received two awards for the Best Derivatives Trading Participants category at the Bursa Excellence Award 2022 held on March 20, 2023.

In a statement, Phillip Capital said it was the first runner-up for the Best Retail Derivatives Trading Participant and second runner-up for Best Overall Derivatives Trading Participant.

The ceremony, themed ""Recognising Excellence, Celebrating Success" was hosted by Bursa Malaysia Bhd to honour and recognise last year's top-performing brokers and market intermediaries.

"We express our appreciation for the steadfast support from our customers and partners and will continue to give the finest service to the capital market via continual innovation", said Lam Choon Jin, executive director of Phillip Capital.

According to Phillip Capital, its trading platform Phillip Nova is experiencing a rapidly growing number of users.

Phillip Nova allows investors to access both the local and foreign futures market through desktop, mobile and tablet.

Meanwhile, Phillip Capital offers educational webinars and workshops on a regular basis in an effort to attract more investors and expand the capital market.

Its initiatives include educational contents via online media platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.

In August last year, Phillip Capital launched its stockbroking business as part of the company's growing product and service offerings.

Phillip Capital now offers Futures, CFDs and stocks to cater to a broader customer base with different investment needs.
