Bertam Alliance unit bags RM82mil job


KUALA LUMPUR: Bertam Alliance Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Bertam Development Sdn Bhd (BDSB) has bagged a sub-contract worth RM82mil from Akas Permai Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bertam the contract involved the construction and completion of building and infrastructure works for the proposed development of a hotel block in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

BDSB shall commence the sub-contract works with immediate effect and the date for completion shall be Nov 30, 2024.

Bertam said the sub-contact was an avenue for the group to increase its order book and potentially improve its income streams and profitability.
