KLCI ends 0.95% higher, boosted by 11th-hour buying


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI closed 0.95% higher on Friday, thanks to buying support in selected index-linked stocks, particularly healthcare and Petronas-linked stocks.

At 5pm, the 30-stock index was up 15.05 points, or 0.95% at 1,602.41 points, its intraday high. For the week, the FBM KLCI lost 0.89 points.
