Jerasia Capital the latest addition to PN17 list

KUALA LUMPUR: Jerasia Capital Bhd has become the latest company to be classified as an affected listed issuer under Practice Note 17 (PN17) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (MMLR), bringing the number of PN17 companies to 25 as of today.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Securities) said it would continue to monitor the progress of the fashion apparel manufacturer in respect of its compliance with the MMLR.

"As at Jan 31, 2022, there are a total of 27 companies under PN17 and GN3 (Guidance Note 3) which represent 2.98 per cent of the total number of 907 companies listed on the Main and ACE Markets of Bursa Securities," it added.

On Friday last week, Jerasia said its board was taking the necessary steps to formulate a regularisation plan to address the company’s PN17 status and would make the necessary announcements on the plan in due course. - Bernama
