Uzma unit bags EnQuest job worth RM30mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Uzma Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Uzma Engineering Sdn Bhd has been awarded a "call-off order” from EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd (EnQuest) for the provision of a hydraulic workover unit (HWU) worth RM30 million.

The provision of HWU services is expected to commence in March and be completed in October this year.

"The scope of work comprises integrated HWU services for EnQuest’s workover recompletion and well abandonment campaign at offshore Peninsular Malaysia,” it told the stock exchange. "The campaign will cover up to three platforms and up to twelve wells operated by EnQuest.”

Uzma said the job is expected to contribute positively towards its earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2022. - Bernama
