Kelington bags RM420mil construction job in Sarawak


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) -- Kelington Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd (KTSB) has bagged a construction contract worth RM420 million from a manufacturing company in Kuching, Sarawak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the manufacturing company, which is located at the Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone, is owned by a United States-based multinational company, a world-leading developer, manufacturer and provider of data storage devices and solutions.

"The works shall commence in mid-September 2021 and is expected to be completed by Dec 31, 2022,” said Kelington, an engineering solutions provider.

The group expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial years Dec 31, 2022 and Dec 31, 2023.
