Boustead Plantations names new CEO

KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Plantations Bhd (BPB) has appointed Zainal Abidin Shariff as its new CEO effective July 12.

BPB chairman Datuk Ismail Lasim said Zainal would lead its reinvented plantation business as he brings a wealth of experience to the group.

“As we steer BPB towards a more robust, sustainable and digitally focused plantation business, we are confident that Zainal will be able to take up the mantle and maximise value creation at BPB, ” he said in a statement.
