Bursa Malaysia approves Yi-Lai’s bonus issue

KUALA LUMPUR: Tiles manufacturer and Information Technology (IT) company, Yi-Lai Bhd’s 2-for-3 bonus issue has received the approval of Bursa Malaysia Securities.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Thursday, Yi-Lai said Bursa Malaysia Securities had, vide its letter approved the listing of and quotation for 97.04 million bonus shares to be issued pursuant to the proposed Bonus Issue, on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.

The proposed bonus issue is on the basis of 2-for-3 existing Yi-Lai shares held on an entitlement date to be determined later.

Yi-Lai’s issued share capital as at Jan 20 is RM93.69mil comprising 145.57 million shares. Upon completion of the corporate exercise, the share capital will increase to 242.61 million shares.
