Bright spots in property market amid gloomy outlook, Knight Frank says


Knight Frank Penang executive director Mark Saw said undoubtedly, the industrial sub-sector will continue to be a beacon of Penang’s economy.

KUALA LUMPUR: Knight Frank Malaysia forecasts commercial property market in Penang, Johor and Sabah to remain in doldrums due to weak sentiment this year but there are some bright positive area amid the gloomy outlook.

The global property consultancy said on Thursday the economic toll from the pandemic continues and has yet to be calculated, and recovery, when it comes, will be a welcome relief.
