KUALA LUMPUR: Oil and gas (O&G) service provider T7 Global Bhd is now the exclusive agent for the marketing and sales of UK-based Oliver Valves Ltd’s valve solutions in Malaysia.

The group inked an exclusive agency agreement with Oliver Valves via its wholly-owned subsidiary T7 Wenmax Sdn Bhd, making it the sole and exclusive agent with immediate effect.

T7 Global chairman Datuk Seri Nik Norzrul Thani Nik Hassan Thani said the O&G valves market in Malaysia is expected to witness healthy growth rates due to the growing energy needs with new O&G projects such as Petronas’ Pengerang Integrated Complex project and continuous industrialisation and urbanisation within the home country.

Oliver Valves has been manufacturing instrumentation, subsea and pipeline valves for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries for over 40 years and supplies valves to global energy companies including Shell and BP.

Speaking to reporters after the agreement signing during the 17th Asian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering Exhibition yesterday, T7 Wenmax general manager Michael Aziz Eu said the company should be getting more business from Malaysian O&G players, especially Petronas and Sapura Energy.

“We expect to do better business since we got very good products from the United Kingdom. We’re bidding for a few jobs presently... Pegaga and maybe Limbayong.”
