KUALA LUMPUR: Tropicana Corp Bhd
(Tropicana) had tied up with Tenby Schools to build a 10-acre international school campus known as Tenby International School in Tropicana Aman, Kota Kemuning, Selangor.
Tropicana said on Friday it expects the first intake in September 2018 and it would be able to accommodate up to 1,800 local and international students.
“The school would be offering international student-oriented programmes for students ages 3 to 18 years old, including international primary curriculum, national curriculum for England, IGCSEs and A-Level programmes.
Tenby schools chairman Mazhairul Jamaludin said the tie-up between Tropicana and the group would provide a holistic environment to learn,live and thrive as a community as well as benefits the children with the Tropicana Aman’s community.
Tenby Schools executive director Datuk Lim Si Boon said the company planned to enhance the learning environment in all its schools by providing innovative learning tools and state-of-the-art technology for its students.
He added that its staff development programme ensured excellence in international teaching standards for both the local and international curriculum.
The company expects the first phase of the mixed development township Tropicana Aman comprising of residential and commercial components to be launched soon.
