Slow and gradual effect

THE US Fed has signalled its intention to raise interest rates and the financial world is preparing for its response to that expected gradual move.

The overall view in Malaysia is that the impact would not be very significant as the rate hike is expected to be slow and gradual; moreover, Bank Negara is expected to have the tools to deal with the situation.
