RAWANG: The Axia A-segment car is a runaway success for Perodua, which has received 62,000 bookings for the five-door hatchback since order-taking started in mid-August.
“We never expected this sort of overwhelming response to the Axia. This is the best achievement by Perodua,” said the automaker’s president and chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh at the official opening of Perodua’s first “hybrid” 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre.
