KNM Q1 net profit surges almost six times to RM14.1mil

KUALA LUMPUR: KNM Group Bhd’s net profit for its first quarter ended March 31, 2014 jumped more than six times to RM14.172mil compared to RM2.22mil a year ago driven by higher project progress recognition, better project contribution margin and lower operating cost.

The oil & gas company told Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday that its revenue rose 0.87% to RM493.89mil from RM489.61mil a year ago.
