Search grows for former SJAM head


PETALING JAYA: The search for Tan Whai Oon, the one-time head of now defunct SJ Asset Management Sdn Bhd (SJAM), is heating up with a warrant of arrest issued for him, after auditors chasing paper trails from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong and Vietnam found a substantial portion of the funds under SJAM's management unaccounted for.

The notice of the warrant was published in the business pages of various dailies yesterday.
