KHAZANAH Nasional Bhd has taken a 16.8% stake in Indonesia's PT Excelcomindo Pratama, which began trading on the Jakarta Stock Exchange yesterday.
For its flotation, the Indonesian company offered for sale 20% of its shares to raise 2.86 trillion rupiah. It had planned to use the money to repay debts and build transmitters in Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi.
