TIME dotCom's FY25 net profit rises to RM428.15mil

KUALA LUMPUR: TIME Dotcom Bhd delivered a resilient performance with net profit of RM428.15 million for the financial year 2025 (FY2025) ended Dec 31, 2025, from RM382.82 million a year earlier, driven by higher revenue, lower impairment of submarine cable and lower net foreign exchange loss.

Revenue rose 6.1 per cent to RM1.79 billion in FY2025 compared to RM1.69 billion recorded in the previous year, it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

It said the increase in revenue was supported by sustained demand for Time’s data and connectivity offerings, with retail and enterprise continuing to be the primary contributors, a trend consistent with prior-year performance.

Group chief executive officer Loh Jenkim said the group closed FY2025 on a solid footing, with its performance reflecting the resilience of its strategic initiatives.

"As customer expectations continue to evolve, we remain committed to delivering reliable, high-quality services while strengthening our operational and financial fundamentals to support long-term sustainable growth,” she said.

Time also declared an interim tax-exempt (single-tier) dividend of 17.32 sen and a special interim tax

exempt (single-tier) dividend of 9.73 sen per share, respectively.

It said the dividend, amounting to RM500.1 million, will be paid out on March 25, 2026.

For the fourth quarter, net profit decreased to RM104.38 million from RM114.40 million previously, while revenue rose to RM464.79 million from RM430.59 million.

Moving forward, the group said it remains focused on driving long-term sustainable growth as the telecommunications landscape continues to evolve.

"Time will continue to invest in network expansion, digital transformation and enhanced customer solutions to maintain its competitive edge,” it said. - Bernama
