TOKYO (Xinhua): China's teenage swimmer Yu Zidi won the women's 200m butterfly to claim the first swimming gold with a new Games record at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games here on Sunday.

Yu touched home first in two minutes 5.08 seconds, finishing ahead of teammate Chang Mohan with 2:08.44. Japan's Okuzuno Misa finished third with 2:09.67.

At the age of 13, Yu is the youngest swimmer in history to win a world championship medal and was one of the youngest athletes to be nominated for the prestigious Laureus World Sports Awards.  -- Xinhua
