MANILA: The Palace on Wednesday (May 20) shared footage of Senators Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa and Robin Padilla leaving the Senate premises together before dawn last Thursday, May 14, hours after a shooting incident.

Dela Rosa was seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and a cap in the video, while Padilla wore a light-colored long-sleeved shirt.

One of the clips showed Padilla first entering the Senate parking lot, followed by a woman also wearing a cap, and then dela Rosa.

Several other people were also in the area. One man in black was trailing the senators as they left the parking area. He was seen talking to someone on his mobile phone.

The footage showed both senators boarding a white Toyota Fortuner owned by Padilla.

At a briefing on Tuesday, Philippine National Police chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. confirmed that dela Rosa and Padilla left the Senate premises together before dawn on May 14, just a few hours after the shooting incident that shook the legislative chamber. - Philppine Daily Inquirer/ANN
