Brunei hosts "Let's Raya 2026" festive sale


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A festive shopping event, "Let's Raya 2026," kicked off at Brunei's International Convention Centre near the capital on Thursday (March 12), bringing together shoppers and retailers ahead of the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.

The sale features a wide selection of local and international brands across diverse categories, including fashion labels, festive goods, and lifestyle products.

Visitors can browse through various offerings such as Raya outfits, accessories and gift items in preparation for the festive season.

Organisers said the event continues to strengthen its position as one of Brunei's premier retail events, combining fashion, lifestyle and festive traditions in celebration of the joyous Hari Raya period.

"Let's Raya 2026" runs from Thursday to Sunday, providing shoppers several days to explore the booths and promotions offered by participating vendors.

Brunei will determine the first day of festive Hari Raya celebrations on March 19, with moon sighting carried out by government officials at various vantage points across the country. - Xinhua
