Meal distribution brings community together in Seria

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Baden Powell (BP) Guild members, in collaboration with the Village Consultative Council (MPK) of STKRJ Lorong Tiga Selatan in Seria, distributed home-cooked bubur cha cha at Village Head of STKRJ Lorong Tiga Selatan Haji Sadin Ibrahim’s residence on Saturday (March 7).

The campaign saw guild members and MPK Lorong Tiga Selatan cooking and packing the meals in the morning before distributing via a drive-thru to returning residents near the main road heading towards the village.

BP Guild Chief Coordinator Beelie bin Tengah said the campaign represents an annual activity organised in collaboration with the local community to help enliven Ramadhan, ensuring that everyone involved can break their fast with home-cooked meals. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
