Malaysia's rock diva Ella grooves with 55,000 fans in grand style in her historic concert in Bukit Jalil

BUKIT JALIL: Saturday night will be remembered as a historic milestone in Malaysia’s music industry as 55,000 fans filled Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil to witness “Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen” — a grand musical assembly dedicated especially to the fans.

Organised by Hitman Solutions together with Rockqueen, the mega-scale concert was more than a performance; it was a manifesto of Peace, Love and Rindu that united generations. The night proved that the legacy of Ella continues to dominate across eras — not only as an icon, but as the voice of the people’s soul.

The concert opened dramatically with a special 30-member children’s choir ensemble before Ella took the stage with “Rama-Rama” at exactly 8:30 PM, sending waves of electrifying energy throughout the stadium. The cheers felt like a declaration that the throne of Malaysia’s Rock Queen remains firmly intact.

Over nearly three hours, Ella delivered 35 songs, including iconic hits such as “Baldu Biru,” “Dua Insan Bercinta,” “Layar Impian,” “Peace Love Rindu,” and the highly anticipated “Standing In The Eyes Of The World,” which was performed in unison with thousands of fans and accompanied on piano by the song’s original composer, Datuk Wah Idris, alongside the nation’s finest athletes on stage — creating an unforgettable emotional connection between the artist and the audience.

The historic evening was further elevated by special guest appearances from Amir Masdi, Sam Bunkface, Tam Spider and The Boys (Ella & The Boys).

Surprise appearances by Amy Search and Joe Flizzow had the crowd roaring with cheers, and it quickly became some of the most talked-about moments of the night.

One of the most symbolic highlights saw Ella circling the stadium on a truck while performing “Standing In The Eyes Of The World,” accompanied by national sports icons including Datuk Nicol David, Ridzuan Puzi, Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli and Farah Ann Abdul Hadi, symbolising the powerful unity between music and national pride.

A heartfelt tribute segment dedicated to legendary figures Datuk Ramli Sarip and Datuk M. Nasir bridged the past and future in a deeply meaningful narrative.

Beyond the spectacle, the concert also carried a humanitarian mission, raising over RM100,000 for selected charitable organisations, reinforcing that music is not merely entertainment, but a platform for giving back.

According to Rohit Rampal, CEO & Founder of Hitman Group, the success of the event was the result of the team’s dedication and the unwavering support of fans. Malaysia’s Rock Queen, Ella whose real name is Nor Zila Aminuddin, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the 55,000 supporters whose presence proved that the message of Peace, Love & Rindu truly lives within the hearts of the people.

The wave of “Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen” will continue internationally on 9 May 2026 at The Star Theatre in Singapore, bringing the same spirit to a wider audience.

Beyond the grandeur of production and the scale of the spectacle, “Majlis Tertinggi Rockqueen” was ultimately for the fans. The 55,000 in attendance were not merely spectators, but they were a part of history in a night that truly belonged to them.

This grand assembly was not only a celebration of a Queen but a celebration of a family united by music, love, and longing.
