Thai woman dates twin brothers at once, gains family support, sparks mixed reactions online

A woman in northeastern Thailand who has been dating a pair of twin brothers at the same time has received support from both families.

The 24-year-old from Nakhon Phanom, known as Fah, recently shared her unconventional relationship on social media.

Fah, who had been single for more than a year, was not seeking a relationship until the twins, Suea and Sing, reached out to her.

The younger twin, Suea, said he first messaged Fah and later encouraged his brother to contact her.

The trio began dating while Fah was still finishing her studies and both families are supportive of the relationship.

According to the Thai media outlet Khaosod, the twins are one year younger than Fah and work in agricultural machinery services.

Fah described their relationship as “stable and fulfilling”, adding that they have been sharing the same bed since the start of their relationship, with her usually in the middle.

“As for sexual life, it is a natural part of a relationship. We do not schedule it, we just go with whatever is convenient,” she told the media.

Fah reportedly works in a restaurant, handling everything from serving customers to helping in the kitchen. She earns more than 10,000 baht (US$320) a month.

She and her two boyfriends initially lived in a dormitory near her workplace.

Fah said that the three of them share daily responsibilities and support their family together. The brothers always handed their earnings over to her to manage.

She also said that the brothers are shy, but they have never shown jealousy towards each other. Fah also buys new clothes for them.

If she were to get pregnant, Fah said she would have a DNA test to identify the biological father, ensuring the correct name appears on the birth certificate.

She hopes her child will call both brothers “dad”.

Fah said the relationship is her personal choice and she does not care about negative online comments.

Their story has caused a buzz on social media, with opinions mixed.

One supporter said: “If everyone in the relationship is happy, then it is the right love. I wish them all the best.”

“The twins look exactly the same. It shows that Fah really loves them enough to tell them apart,” said another.

Another person held a different view: “This relationship seems ridiculous. It is impossible for everyone involved to get equal love and attention.”

“This threesome connection will cause confusion and problems for their future children,” said a fourth.

Thailand’s current law upholds monogamy, meaning a person can only legally marry one spouse.

While dating multiple people is not illegal, it can still face social and moral scrutiny.
