Brunei to host largest consumer fair, trade expo

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Brunei will host its biggest Consumer Fair and Trade Expo from Jan. 28 to Feb. 1 at the International Convention Centre near the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.

According to the organiser, D'Sunlit Sdn Bhd, on Tuesday (Jan 13), the five-day expo is expected to welcome more than 350 exhibitors, featuring participants from several countries, including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

The annual event continues to reach new heights by embracing growth, innovation and cross-border collaboration.

The growing influx of international exhibitors and delegates also reflects the consumer fair's expanding role in driving business activity beyond the exhibition halls, contributing to inbound tourism and stimulating broader opportunities for local industries and services along the way.

In addition to international exhibitors, the expo will showcase Brunei's micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises, reflecting the event's commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting the growth of domestic businesses. - Xinhua
