Samsung Elec talks break down, union to go on strike

SEOUL, ⁠May 20 (Reuters) - ⁠The South ‌Korean labour union for ​employees of ⁠Samsung ⁠Electronics will go ⁠ahead ‌with ⁠its planned strike ​on ‌Thursday after ⁠failing ​to reach ⁠a pay deal ​under the government-mediated talks, ⁠the union leader said ​on ⁠Wednesday.
