PHNOM PENH: Dreamy School will provide Cambodian students with a high-quality education and training standards that align with each student's natural abilities and talents, said Han-Gill Park, founder and CEO of Atomy Global.
The company is currently investing in the Dreamville project and Dreamy School in Siem Reap province, making Cambodia the fourth country in the world – after South Korea, the Philippines and the United States – in which Dreamy School has established a presence.
Speaking to Cambodian journalists recently in South Korea, Han-Gill Park said that after nearly a decade in the Cambodian market, his company had begun expanding into the real estate and education sectors.
He said Atomy Global’s presence in Cambodia was not only about selling products, but also about contributing to Cambodia’s economic growth by developing highly skilled human resources.
He continued that knowledgeable and capable human resources are essential for a country to grow and for its people to earn higher incomes. With this vision, his company aimed to support Cambodia through the development of an excellent school.
“Dreamy School will offer a unique and special education system, combining both international and local curricula, which will focus on experience-based learning, collaboration and the personal development of each student.
“Atomy Global’s purpose in investing in Cambodia is not just for profit, but also to help elevate the capacity of human resources in the country to a new level.
“The vision of Dreamy School is for every student to gain essential life skills by practising and developing their own strengths. Dreamy School will transform students into outstanding individuals and global talents by nurturing their natural gifts,” Park said.
He added that Dreamy School has already achieved great success in South Korea, the Philippines and the United States, with his dream to build 100 Dreamy Schools in locations worldwide.
“The vision of Dreamy School is to help students fully express their natural potential. We want them to discover what is inside them rather than simply follow others or rely only on theory.
“Developing human resources is essential and extremely important, and I have held this belief since I was young,” he said.

When asked why he chose Siem Reap as the location for Dreamy School, Park responded that Siem Reap is a highly favourable and promising area.
As Cambodia’s cultural and historical centre, Siem Reap is expected to experience significant future development and attract greater numbers of locals, foreigners and tourists to live and visit.
Whayoun Yu, Director of Mustard Seed Elementary School and School Director of Dreamy School, said that construction of the Dreamy School in Cambodia is to begin soon, with operations expected to start in 2027.
Initially, the school will admit students from kindergarten to Grade 4, she said, explaining that Dreamy School starts at kindergarten level as it wants to shape learning habits and daily routines from early childhood.
“Dreamy School will bring an international educational model to Cambodia starting in 2027. The curriculum prioritises each student’s natural potential,” she said.
She explained that teachers generally serve as guides or facilitators, while students are the ones who take action.
Dreamy School will give students the opportunity to express their natural abilities, interests and determination in everything they do.
According to Yu, Dreamy School’s special features include a bilingual, Khmer-English, curriculum that balances globalisation with the preservation of local cultural identity. Most of the teaching approaches will be experience-based and collaborative.
“Dreamy School is not merely a school – it is an ecosystem of learning that supports physical and mental growth, nurtures creativity and develops the social skills of the next generation,” she said. - The Phnom Penh Post/ANN
