75th anniversary Pro-Am celebrates major milestone for the LPGA Foundation and women’s sports

DAYTONA BEACH: The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has announced that all playing spots for the 75th Anniversary Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Resorts® have sold out, raising a record US$2.5 million for the LPGA Foundation.

“This milestone marks not only the LPGA’s most successful fundraising effort to date, but one of the most ambitious philanthropic events in the history of women’s sports,” said Jacqueline Nickelberry, LPGA Foundation Board Member and Chair of the 75th Anniversary Pro-Am. “It reflects what’s possible when we harness the power of sport and golf to build community, open doors, and create generational impact for girls and women around the globe.”

Scheduled for January 12–15, 2026, the event gathers LPGA legends, current athletes, sponsors, business leaders, and philanthropists to honor the 13 Founders who established the LPGA in 1950. Those trailblazers not only created opportunities for women in golf but also inspired generations to dream bigger through the game.

The $2.5 million, raised amid a landscape where less than 2% of charitable giving supports women and girls (per the 2025 Women’s Philanthropy Institute Report), will expand access to golf for women and girls at 700+ Girls Golf sites globally, provide essential equipment to those in need, and grow scholarship support, creating pathways for progress for the next generation.

This total will also fuel the Foundation's $13M campaign to reach “One Million MORE Girls” by 2030. The LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program already boasts an annual impact of 220,000 participants, but with this support, even more barriers will be removed for girls worldwide.

“This record-breaking sellout tells you everything you need to know about the momentum behind women’s golf right now,” said LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler. “It’s remarkable and inspiring to see this level of belief in our mission — because it directly fuels more access, more pathways, and more girls seeing themselves in this game.

"As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we’re also carrying forward the vision of our Founders, who built this organization through determination and collaboration. Events like this Pro-Am aren’t just celebrations — they embody that spirit. They bring people together to move the sport forward and help ensure the next million girls have the opportunities our Founders dreamed of.”

More than 30 LPGA players are confirmed to participate, including LPGA Hall of Famers Amy Alcott, Pat Bradley, Juli Inkster, Lydia Ko, Nancy Lopez, and Judy Rankin, along with Allisen Corpuz, Nelly Korda, Stacy Lewis, Brittany Lincicome, Angela Stanford, Michelle Wie West, and Rose Zhang. The roster boasts 394 LPGA Tour wins, 54 majors, and nine LPGA Hall of Fame inductions. Attendees will team up with these icons and LPGA*USGA Girls Golf members.

“Celebrating the LPGA’s 75th Anniversary is an honor,” expressed Lydia Ko, LPGA Player and Hall of Fame member. “The 13 Founders paved the way for every woman in golf, and their courage inspires us to keep opening doors for the next generation. This legacy doesn’t just endure—it empowers girls around the world to dream bigger and grow the game we love.”

Set against the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links® and The Links at Spanish Bay™, this three-day celebration is proof that when the golf industry unites behind a shared cause, there is no limit to its community impact.
