Four dead in Thailand monsoon floods

BANGKOK: Four people were killed in flooding in central Thailand, the nation's disaster agency said Tuesday (Sept 23), with more heavy rain forecast this week during the annual monsoon.

More than 250,000 people across several provinces on the Chao Praya river basin were impacted by the floods this week, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said in a statement.
