Indonesian diplomat in Peru shot dead by unknown assailant

JAKARTA: An Indonesian Foreign Ministry employee serving at its embassy in Lima, Peru, was shot dead by an unidentified assailant on Monday (Sept 1).

Local media reported that Zetro Leonardo Purba (pic) was shot three times while cycling with his wife, just a few metres from his residence in the city of Lince, on Monday night local time.
