Rising young talents MUAH! returns with second single titled 'Kajang', a taste of young life in Malaysia and South-East Asia

After the success of their debut single Boy Best Friend (BBF), the band MUAH! made headlines last year when they made big impressions in Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia.

The five man team of four young lads and a lass, the group is now back in the limelight with a bold and entertaining new track titled 'Kajang'.

The song, in collaboration with Sony Music Malaysia, has been available on all digital platforms since May 9.

MUAH! – comprising five young talents: Naim Daniel (lead vocalist and guitarist), Zenith (guitar), Tasneem (bass), Mairil (drums), and Ayai (keyboard) – continues to ride their momentum with a track brimming with character and youthful emotion.

'Kajang' explores the complexities of a love triangle, delivered in a light-hearted, witty, and ironic tone.

Lyrics like “Alaaa bodo, aku kantoi lagi sekali” and “Macam mana aku nak twist story ini?” capture the chaos of the narrator’s love life, making it a relatable anthem for young listeners navigating drama-filled relationships.

For the record, the group debuted in September 2024 and their debut single, “BBF” was a big hit with the young fans.

The band said during their launch of their first single that their music efforts are actually ‘heartbreak anthem’ filled with songs talking on issues that young audiences find relatable.

As well finding fans in Malaysia, the group also said they intend to entertain fans South-East Asia, namely in Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei.
