Changi’s Terminal 5 cleared for construction

THE city-state’s Changi Airport started construction of a fifth terminal, as the world’s fourth-­busiest airport by international passengers expands to capitalise on growing air travel in Asia after the pandemic.

The airport will also integrate a third runway, which is currently used by the military, by 2030.
