Laos comes alive with festive energy as Lao New Year approaches

VIENTIANE (Xinhua): As cassia fistula trees, known as golden rain trees, began to bloom across Laos, the country was filling with excitement and festive atmosphere as Lao New Year approached, with the Lao people eager to embrace celebrations.

Yellow cassia fistula trees, known as "Dok Khoun" in Lao, bloomed just in time for the Lao New Year festival. The blooming of these flowers served as a reminder to people across Laos of the approaching New Year.
