BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Suzuki Brunei brought together Jimny owners for a special iftar gathering on Saturday (March 22) at the Suzuki Gadong Showroom, fostering a sense of community and adventure in line with the brand’s spirit of exploration.

Themed ‘Indoor Camping,’ the event transformed the showroom into a cosy yet adventurous space, reflecting the rugged outdoor lifestyle that defines the Suzuki Jimny.

Attendees enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complete with exciting activities and lucky draws, as they shared their passion for the iconic off-roader.

“In the spirit of Ramadhan, we wanted to create an experience that brings Jimny owners together – not just to celebrate their love for adventure, but also to give back to the community,” said Suzuki Brunei’s marketing executive Faiz Mazlan.

As part of the event’s charitable efforts, Suzuki Brunei collaborated with Foodlife.bn to collect donations from Jimny owners.

These contributions will be distributed during the ‘Jimny Ramadan Drive’ on March 26, where participants will navigate challenging off-road terrain to deliver aid to underprivileged households.

The event also featured a showcase of customised Jimnys, demonstrating the vehicle’s versatility and personalisation potential – whether for extreme off-roading, aggressive styling, or urban adventures.

Suzuki Brunei expressed its gratitude to sponsors and partners who supported the event, including Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM), Intracorp Sdn Bhd, RUPES Bigfoot, as well as financial and insurance institutions such as TAIB, BIBD At-Tamwil, Takaful Brunei Am, Baiduri Finance and Tokio Marine.

Jimny enthusiasts can look forward to more community-driven events in the future, as Suzuki Brunei continues to strengthen its connection with customers beyond the road. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
